does taking clomid (clomiphene) for more than 5 days make u fertile more?

Probably not: The prescribed course for Clomid (clomiphene) is 5 days. If you don't respond (ovulate) to it there are studies that show you can increase the dose and take another 5 days without having to wait for a period. However, it would be wise to talk with a fertility specialist.
