Half-life : That is not necessarily true. Oxycodone, like all medications, can build up reserves in your fat supply. The more you take or the longer you take the longer you will test positive in your urine. Narcotic medications are very dangerous and should only be taken as prescribed. They also have not been shown to be more beneficial in higher doses. Avoid all together if you can.

Oxycodone Halflife: Oxycodone is a potent narcotic. The average half life is 3 - 4.5 hours. In 5 half lives, or 15- 22.5 hours, the majority of the drug is unavailable. However very sensitive urine tests may detect oxycodone even after 2 days.
