Vasodilator : Nitric oxide is a naturally occurring compound released by the healthy lining of blood vessels (endothelial cells). It acts both as a vasodilator and also prevents blood clots from forming. Nitric oxide (or its precursor l-argenine) supplements are not recommended as first-line treatment for HTN or cardiovascular disease. We don't have strong scientific evidence that it works.
