Bleeding: The abortion pill induces a miscarriage which can lead to bleeding for about two weeks or so, give or take one week. You should however see your doctor for follow up to ensure that everything has exited your uterus. Some people have failed medical abortions and will be at risk of severe bleeding if the pregnancy remains.
