Needs an evaluation: Risk of heart or other damage from untreated strep runs 1/200 cases for each event and does decline some in adulthood.If you didn't seek treatment , you likely did not have confirmed strep (more than half of sore throats are not), your risk may or may not be lower than that. Only a checkup with your doc could assess your heart.
