Acids for skin tags: Although some acid peels can remove skin tags, most are ineffective. Salicylic acid is too weak an acid to remove a skin tag. Best is to simply shave the skin tag off at its base. See a competent facial plastic, plastic, or derm surgeon to suggest to you the best treatment option for your skin tags.
