Depends : With a bronchial infection and cough or sinus infection you may see some minor bleeding from small vessels which will get into the sputum and be coughed up. Running which could trigger coughing could be cause but this should be minor and self limited. If there was no associated infection or persistent symptom this should be more thoroughly investigated.

See below: This could mean nothing. After a run you are going to dry out your mucus membranes. This can make them pone to bleed, and on the run you probably swallowed some blood. I would keep an eye on it, and if it persists have it checked out by your local doctor.
