is swimming good for croup?

Croup?: Increased humidity is good for croup. Run a humidifier in the child's room or sit in the bathroom with the hot shower on to steam up the room. Even taking a car ride with the windows cracked over can help with the stridor of croup.

Consult pediatric dr: While it may be safe for children with mild cases of croup to swim in shallow areas, more serious cases can pose dangers due to narrowing of airway. For best results, get a pediatrician’s approval before letting your child swim with croup.
