What to do if your newborn was bitten by a bug on the eyelid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Clean / monitor: In most cases these will swell a bit, often quite remarkably and gradually resolve with no treatment.Cleaning the site of the bite with a q-tip and soapy water and following it for signs of increasing redness or drainage, will sort out the few that need to be see. Most resolve within a few days.
