Sounds normal: The fundal height measurement of 38 cm at 36 weeks is likely normal. In most women the measurement is plus or minus 2 cm, so 34-38 cm at 36 wks is normal. However the fundal height only measures one dimension of the uterus so it is only a rough estimate of the baby's growth. At your next visit ask your doctor how big he/she thinks your baby is.
