Is blood in daughter's urine with cramping a sign of her period starting?

Possibly : If your daughter is the appropriate age and there are no urinary symptoms it certainly may be related. Menstrual blood can make its way into urine stream and appear to be urinary in nature. Cramping would be typical of menses but all those symptoms could also be seen in bladder infection. This would require antibiotics so needs to be determined as could progress to kidney if untreated.
