Confusing: Blood in the urine can be a sign of a bladder infection or other urinary problem like a kidney stone. However, some uterine bleeding is so light that it only comes out when you are sitting down to urinate. It can be difficult to be sure where it is coming from. Uterine bleeding between periods can happen for many reasons.

This morning I saw a dried-up red fleck of blood in my urine (I touched it, it was blood). By the end of the day, my period started. I'm not sure if the blood was from my period or my urine because it was dried-up and a fleck. What can it be?
