Yes: If the allergen was introduced into just that eye. In my experience, this is uncommon. Most people who have allergies that affect the eyes have both eyes involved.

Yes: If it is an allergy to something that gets on the skin, or in the eye or on the lid, it may affect only one eye. If it is an allergy due to something you ingest, it usually would affect both eyes.
