Scurvy Prevention: Consider fresh fruits & vegetables that contain vitamin C such as: Lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruits, guava, papaya, kiwi, strawberries, black currants, broccoli, tomatoes, cabbage, spinach, asparagus, carrots, paprika, green peppers, sweet potatoes & sprouts. Fresh & raw is best to retain the vitamin C in foods. Fresh liver, oysters and Muktuk (whale skin) contains rich amounts of Vitamin C.
