I am doing a report on scurvy. can you give me some information about it ? and have you ever treated someone with scurvy? what was it like?

No pt's with scurvy: Sxs of scurvy include loosened teeth with gum disease. Skin bruises easily and becomes rough & may have small petechial hemorrhages. The person likely feels tired, suffers from mood changes & poor wound healing. Once scurvy becomes quite advanced it can cause yellow skin, swelling of the body, lack of urine , fever & seizures. Scurvy can cause death. I have never treated a patient with scurvy.
