Values >11 x 10(9)/L: The normal white cell range is up to 10.5 x 10(9)/l for most individuals. Mildly increased valuies (i.e. Up to 25 x 10(9)/l) can be from infection, inflammation, trauma, steroid use, or even a chronic leukemia. Values well above 25 x 10(9)/l become more suspicious for a bone marrow disease. Duration of time the WBC have been increased also a key factor.
