Drops: Scleral buckling is performed to surgically fix a detached retina. Postoperatively eyedrops are prescribed for a few weeks - including anti-inflammatory and antibiotic drops. Furthermore, as the eye shape is changed by the surgery, a change of glasses is typically needed.
