If not allergic : If neither the mom or the child have a soy allergy there should be no problem. If the infant seems to be uncomfortable with feeding, has excessive gas or other gastrointestinal symptoms it may need to be removed from the diet. Soy protein is one that can trigger allergic symptoms in some people.
