Yes: This is strongly recommended if you are still having problems as a result of your head injury.

If needed: Many problems attributable to brain injury get better over time--such as headaches, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, etc. However, some problems can show up in a delayed fashion--hydrocephalus, traumatic aneurysms, growing skull fracture (in children), etc.
