What does a white blood count of 22 mean in an adult?

Need more info: Blood count of 22 is not meaningful data. All lab results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the test is usually in the best position to do that. If 22, 000 is your white blood cell count, it is elevated and could be due to an infection. See your doctor.
