ACL: The answer depends on multiple factors including the type of surgery, your age, and any complicating factors, etc. In general however, most people are walking well by 2 to 3 weeks after surgery. Certainly by six weeks the vast majority of patients are walking normally. Of course full recovery takes a minimum of six months or more.
