Depends: This can result from several causes. Angioedema can be hereditary and this has to b e addressed. It is common in middle to older age to have edema of the lower lids from fluid accumulation while recumbent. This will lessen as you get up and walk around each day. Some is due to weakening of the barriers between the orbital fat and the lids with age. See your ophthalmologist to sort out.
