Fungal Infection: There are numerous anti-fungal medications available over the counter without a prescription. We do not endorse one product over another here on health tap.

Antifungal treatment: Treatment of fungal infections depends on the site of the infection & the host w/the infection. Skin /mucosal infections can frequently be treated topically w/antifungal creams but sometimes require systemic medications; nailbed infections rarely can be treated topically & frequently require systemic therapy; invasive fungal infections of vital organs requires potent systemic antifungal treatment.

Fungal infection: Fungal infections can be treated with anti fungal creams , powders , or anti fungal tablets. In most cases scrapings need to be done to confirm the diagnosis before anti fungal tablets are prescribed .
