Not Less Intelligent: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) stimulates the part of the brain that is responsible for focus and attention (although it can also stimulate other areas as well causing anxiety, insomnia and loss of appetite). Intelligence is an inherent quality that you possess and is not something a medication can increase. With less distraction it becomes easier for you to utilize what intelligence you do have. But use with caution.

Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) effect: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is not a smart pill. If you are doing better on it, it is the result of being able to focus and attend more efficiently, screen out distractions and be better organized. It is allowing you to use your intelligence more efficiently.
