Depends On Response: I would be interested in knowing whether your son was previously on a lower dose and has now been increased to 20mg. I do not usually start at 20mg with a 6 year old - it would be more common to start at 5-10mg and gradually increase if needed. There is an increased chance of side effects by starting at 20mg, so please conact the physician's office if there are concerns.
