Knee arthritis : Yes exercise is very important with knee arthritis. However low impact exercises are favored. Examples include swimming or water-based exercise, stationery bicycling, and elliptical machine use. Let pain be your guide.

Arthritis: It is always good to exercise and be active with arthritis . It keeps the supporting muscles and ligaments healthy . If the joint becomes very painful check with doctor to make sure there is no associated problem of acute nature that requires rest or further investigation prior to redemption of exercise and activity.
