Diet Tips: These foods lower the "bad" cholesterol. Also, do the usually recommended stuff: water, exercise, reduce stress. Best! 1. Oats 2. Red wine - minimize other alcohol 3. Salmon & fatty fish - minimize red meats 4. Nuts 5. Dried beans 6. Tea 7. Chocolate - dark is best 8. Margarine - avoid trans & saturated fats 9. Spinach - other greens & veggies & fruit too! 10. Avocado 11. Garlic 12. Olive oil.
