Facial fat: Small cannulas are used to remove fat selectively from areas in the face where it is not wanted such as under the chin. Chin straps are then used to help the skin shrink so it doesn't sag. These may not be needed in the mid-face. More often we discourage fat removal in the face since it naturally disappears as one ages. Fat removal in the face can accelerate aging so be careful!
