Tendon tear: The quinolone class of antibiotic (of which Levaquin (levofloxacin) is one) has been reported to have caused weakened tendon and even achilles tear. Avoid doing anything which may strain your knees or ankles. Stop the Levaquin (levofloxacin) immediately. Call your doctor re. Management. You don't ever want to end up with an achilles tear.
