Nails require therap: Nails require more stringent therapy. Although Methotrexate may work, i suspect you will need a biologic. The ones available for psoriasis include tnf inhibitors like enbrel, humira, simponi (golimumab) and Remicade and also stelera which had a different mechanism of action.

Agree with Dr. G: Your knee pain could be due to psoriasis. It would be prudent to consult a rheumatologist, as there are effective treatments for psoriasis.
