Hard to diagnose: Brain damage from a fever is extremely unlikely. It's not unusual for a sick toddler to run a temperature of 104 or even 105 degrees f. Most children can tolerate a temperature of slightly greater than 107 degrees f without long-term effects from the fever. Keep in mind that a fever is not an illness — it's a way for the body to fight disease. See another md if not getting the support you need.

Hard to comment: When you submit a question, the more factual info you provide the more we have to go on.Your frustration is common but dwelling on it does not provide us details we could use to help.Try starting over with the kids age, fever frequency, other symptoms, change in her activities, time between events, etc.Your submissions are never linked and we have no access to uploads.
