Patience: Gastroenteritis usually caused by viruses, bacteria, medications, etc. Mostly caused by viruses , rotovirus in children and norovirus in adults. Usually immune for 2 to 6 months from getting viral process again. Would suspect other members of family because of contact would get gastroenteritis for about same course.Once everyone has the virus the process should cease.
