Does bone cancer spread quickly?

Bone Ca: Can be primary, aclled osteo- or chondrosarcoma. Quite rare. Cancer originating in any organ can metastasize or 'spread' to bones, so it is by definition spread. Then there is myeloma, actually arising from the plasma cell in bone marrow, that causes 'punched out lesions' of bone. Sarcomas also spread to lungs.

It can spread quickl: Primary malignancies of bone like osteosarcoma, ewing sarcoma and chondrosarcoma can metastasize most commonly to the lungs and other bones. However, the speed at which this happens truly depends on the underlying biologic aggresiveness of the individual cancer. It is hard nearly impossible to determine the speed of spread with our current understanding and tools available for evaluation.
