Avoid whitening drop: There are many artificial tears available over the counter, and they are all good. If you use them more than 4x/day, stick to a preservative-free variety. However, you should avoid "whitening" drops as they can become addicting, leading to rebound redness when they wear off, and result in more frequent use and toxicity.
