Is fioricet (acetaminophen butalbital and caffeine) good for post concussion syndrome?

Fioricet (acetaminophen butalbital and caffeine): Fioricet has been used for decades to treat pain. I do not recommend it because a constituent is a barbiturate, which is sedating. This may cause you to be additionally sedated on top of your concussion. Until your concussion symptoms have cleared use ibuprofen, naprosyn (naproxen) or acetominophen instead. For any discomfort.

May be: It is preferable to use other preventative medications for headaches in this syndrome and there are multiple choices. However if others do not help or insurance coverage is a big hindrance and Fioricet (acetaminophen butalbital and caffeine) works then it is valuable and here benefits far outweigh risks.
