A member asked:

What to do avoid degue fever when you are bitten by a mosquito?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Avoid more bites: If the mosquito was carrying dengue then there is little you can do at this point, except wait. You may or may not have been inoculated, and if you were, the amount may or may not have been enough to cause infection. This all assumes you're in an area where dengue is known to exist. To avoid more bites, inspect repellents and netting can help. Mosquitos are most active around dawn and dusk.
