Grief & depression: I'm sorry to hear of your wife's diagnosis. You may be grieving at the same time you're helping to take care of her. Sadness is natural during this, but it differs from the mental illness of depression in terms of ability to function in your life and life roles. Support through personal therapy may help you; if appetite, sleep, or energy are disturbed, temporary meds may help too. See comment.
