Self-care: It sounds like you're a good friend. Rather than doing the footwork for your friend, ask if you can sit with them while they make the call for the appointment. This way you're providing helpful support, but allowing her to care care of herself.

Usually they make: Their own appointment. Encourage them to get help. Offer to go with her if she wants you to, but she needs to own her issues and do it for herself, not for you. You could help her find a good therapist and give her a few names to call, but it is better if she does so herself. Good luck and lt us know how it goes.
