There is a balance: Of "good" bacteria, ph and other things in the vagina that antibiotics disturbs. Killing off the "good" bacteria in the vagina along with the bad bacteria for why it was prescribed. The imbalance can cause an overgrowth of yeast that requires treatment. Call your gynecologist for advice on the best treatment. Live yogurt cultures can help prevent this in the future.
