It all depends: Yes, you can theoretically take it. The question is if you need that much. Shire, inc. (makers of adderall) actually did a study years ago looking at 40, 50, and 60 mg of Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) xr doses and found benefit at the higher doses for the most severely "add'ish" of the studied patients. This also conforms to the "biederman max" of 0.5 mg of amphetamine per lb per day if you are 120 lbs or over.
