Allergic reaction: You don't mention what type of allergic reaction you developed to the medication. Hard to tell how to advise you but if you do not feel well, maybe you should go to the er.

Allergic: Allergic reactions mean there is a rash and some difficulty breathing. A medication side effect is nausea and other distress. Drinking alcohol while taking Flagyl can make one extremely sick. I think it is good that you stopped the medication, but am not sure this is an allergic reaction.
