Infection: I would stop smoking. You may have gingivitis or periodontitis. You may have a problem with your larynx (voice box). The swollen glands indicate an infection. You should see a periodontist, oral surgeon, or e n t doctor.

Summer cold: It seems like you have an infection affecting your sublingual and submandibular glands. They are lymph glands. See your dds or your md. To see if antibiotics would help.
