A member asked:

Is there any way to increase serum testosterone without taking testosterone? my level is low normal, so not low enough for my doctor to prescribe it.

Endocrinologist: Low-normal testosterone may or may not be a problem. Is the level being interpreted in the context of overall health, lh, fsh, other hormones, and age? Other symptoms? An adult endocrinologist would be able to further investigate and advise.

Stay healthy: Eat less, exercise more, avoid tobacco/alcohol/opiates/anabolics and certain medication, heat, trauma, etc. Remember, low normal is still normal.
