No easy answer: Many types of anemia--menstrual blood loss, requires iron replacement through diet or iron-vitamin supplements. Vegetarian diets --totally or milk products, eggs included--need to see your doctor and probably a nutritionist. Good luck.

You must supplement: You need to find the cause of your anemia. If it is iron deficiency from your monthly periods, then you need to supplement if you are going to continue being a vegetarian. The stuff about "good sources of iron for vegetarians" is basically lies. You'd need 20 tablespoons of fancy molasses or 16 servings of broccoli to stand a chance. Get with a veg-friendly physician as your guide to health.
