Today fingerstick hgb = 14.3 and 2 weeks ago a venous hgb = 12.8. two months ago: venous hgb =12.5 and fingerstick hgb=16.2. who should i trust?

Blood Testing: All of these are correct. It is bizarre to be testing this frequently and there appears to be no rhyme or reason to repeat the tests when you are normal. Finger stick testing is not always 100% accurate and the results can be swayed by many things such as fluid status, the time it took to collect the blood in a finger stick. Why keep testing when you are normal?
