Depends on the cause: Recurrent uti's may be dure to many factors. Auto contamination (wipe backwards after a bm), trauma / irritation (post coital/honeymoon cystitis, chemicals, sprays, perfumes), abnormal anatomy of your urinalry system, lack of hormones (menopause), colonization with an agressive bacteria, to name a few. You and your doc have a talk about prevention and methods to preven (prophylax) against utis.
