Absolutely not....: If the onlay does feel high definitely return to your dentist to adjust it so it feels comfortable and all of your teeth are touching in harmony. Until then try to be careful eating in the area or chewing very hard stuff since prolonged pressure on the tooth will cause you some discomfort or pain.
