Soft diet: It is important to follow the instructions that your oral surgeon gave after the extraction. If you have questions then call them. You need to eat a soft diet for a few days after the extraction. You can change to normal foods as you start to heal and feel better. Listen to your mouth and eat what is comfortable to eat. But it is important to eat something. You need the nutrition to heal.
