No need to delay: Assuming you are not engaging in positions which interfere with blood return from your legs, and you are being treated appropriately for your DVT there does not seem to be a reason for delay.

No answer: Dvt is treated with blood thinners. If you are taking therapeutic blood thinners, you are probably ok. The exception would be patients with a large amount of clot or "free floating clot" - ask your doctor about the extent of your dvt.
