Eat healthy: A healthy diet of fruits, veggies, protein, good fats, whole grains, dairy should be adequate for healing. If you have medical conditions that prevent your eating certain foods, discuss that with your doc to optimize your nutrition and healing. A daily multiple vitamin with vitamin d3, calcium and trace minerals might supplement the healing process.

Depends: To help bones heal, eat lots of organic green vegetables. Also consider magnesium and strontium supplements but take strontium apart from magnesium or calcium. You will get plenty of calcium from vegetables such as broccoli. Most people really do not need to supplement more than 500 mg a day of calcium if at all. Milk is not necessary for bones if minerals are obtained from vegetables.
